Overview Gymi preparation

AHA-Nachhilfe offers preparation courses for the entrance exam at the Langzeit- and Kurzzeitgymi as well as at the FMS and BMS at the following locations:

Canton of Zürich:

  • Adliswil

  • Wädenswil

Canton of Schwyz:

  • Einsiedeln
  • Lachen
  • Pfäffikon

It is possible to enter high school (Gymnasium) after the 6th grade of primary school or after the 2nd/3d grade of secondary school. We offer courses for both grades. For more detailed information, please have a look at the section Sek courses or Primar courses.


Performance assessment

With the help of a performance assessment after completing the two basic modules, all students receive a first informative feedback. By means of a test per subject we will evaluate the basics and identify possible knowledge gaps.

The performance determination takes places in the middle of November. The exact dates can be found in the course program of the respective Gymi preparation courses.

Exam simulation

Two times per course an exam simulation helps to prepare for the actual Gymi entrance exam. In this simulation, the students take the entire entrance exam. After the exam evaluation, the students receive a written feedback containing the most important learning points.

Intensive weeks

For last-minute participants or for all those wanting the finishing touch before the entrance exams in March, we offer intensive weeks during the sports holidays (calendar weeks 7, 8, 9 and 10).

Courses for primary school students are held in the morning, courses for secondary school students in the afternoon. The course content contains three lessons per day (Monday to Friday) and 15 lessons in total.
